A great resource

When I read the first edition of this book all I could think was, "Why hasn't anyone wrote this simple of a how to in my industry?" Then Jeff reissued the book for anyone that sells high end B2C. And still I think that as a high end B2B salesperson, this speaks to me clearly and simply. For instance his chapter on Price Objections is a great reminder of how a price objection is a smokescreen for,"I need more information." And his sage advice is to thank the customer for the opportunity to give them more information about the value of my product. Seems simple. But I have spent a lot of time pounding my steering wheel wondering why I didn't handle a price objection better than I did. I can read and reread this again each time I need it. Thanks Jeff.

Deal With It! is a powerful book of logic that walks the reader through establishing the relationship with the prospective buyer and the entire sales process! Good coaches provide some "scripting" and without taking away individual style, Jeff Shore outlines some great techniques that are proven successful. I enjoyed the stories and his insight from YEARS in the business - managing and selling. It is apparent that Jeff spent a considerable amount of time learning how to be great when he was on the floor and this book is enabling others to benefit from his insight.
